Will [KCD1] or [KCD2] break me?

For those who’ve played KCD, how likely is burnout? I’ve heard the game can be pretty demanding with its survival mechanics, a punishing save system, and a steep learning curve. Does it stay fun, or does it start feeling like a grind or just a medieval chore? Anything you wish you knew before starting?
