Paperwhite Signature display - yellow stripe?

My beloved Kindle Oasis is dying - it periodically won't respond to touches. Since it's being discontinued, I'm looking at the Paperwhite Signature edition. One of the 1 star comments on it says there's a yellow stripe across the bottom of the display. Is this true for the B&W versions, or just the color?
