Sound is terrible

So I just bought a new 2023 KIA Forte and I’ve noticed that the sound system is not that great. I have to put the volume to all the way up just to have my music loud. When I switched to the radio I noticed that the sound was significantly higher than the one with car play. So I think it’s a CarPlay issue. I’ve messed with the sound setting as much as I could, but with no success. Has anybody else had this problem? If so, have you been able to fix it? Please let me know!
