Why Do People Hate 9-5s?

I work 8:30-8:00 6 days a week and get a weekend off every 6 weeks. I would kill for the amount of time at home a 9:00-5:00 would give me. Seems like the perfect job for me which is why I’ve been trying to land one but I was wondering why they were hated so much.
