Mortgage protection

My partner and I are in the final stages of purchasing our first home but we are getting quite stressed about the mortgage protection insurance. We both have long term medical issues (multiple sclerosis and ADHD). We are currently waiting on our gp's to fill out a medical questionnaire/report, will we have any issues securing insurance??
