Finally tried self flossing for the first time, gums won't stop bleeding since. Any tips to prevent bleeding?
Usually whenever I felt a food stuck between my teeth I either just pick it up on my own finger or toothbrush. However I do had a few readings and watching videos before that flossing is apparently a must everyday, which I didn't try until around last week. From most videos I watched, from self proclaimed dentists especially said dental floss is a much better option than the pick ones, which is what I bought. Many often said that it's normal for your gums to bleed during your first try, so it didn't bother me that much at first. But it still bled during my 2nd and 3rd try, and worse when I ate a usual food that may be hard to chew for a bit (like frozen chocolate for eg) I can sense my gum is bleeding again. So I stopped flossing for a few days, but my gums still didn't stop bleeding sometimes, and it become more apparent when I brushed my teeth like normal. I haven't have this problem ever since I switched to soft toothbrush, which I still use, so this annoyed me a bit. Is there any other easier option to prevent gums from bleeding in this situation?
