Gigabyte OSD Sidekick disables ctrl+ functions when program is running

When i launch the Gigabyte osd sidekick software for my monitor (gigabyte g27q), it disables the ctrl+ keyboard shortcuts. When i close the program, the problems are removed. Any ideas or solutions to have these shortcuts enabled when the software is running? Is it due to the USB connection that connects the monitor to the PC, interfering with the keyboard?
