Gas pedal stops working
I recently did some work on my 2011 3.8 Track. Replaced brake pads and front rotors. HKS axle back exhaust, coilovers, and new tail lights.
Now, the gas pedal frequently just stops working. No check engine light. It usually happens when taking off from a stop -- it'll go for a second and then loose power. When this happens, pushing in the clutch and giving it more gas (gentle clutch kick) fixes the problem. However, it also has done it on the freeway.
I originally thought it was a sticky caliper but it happening on the freeway seems to negate that idea. The current hypothesis is that the drive by wire is sensing the tail lights as on, but I have not had anyone follow me to see if they actually come on. ECU was reset after the lights were installed.
Has anyone encountered this? My googlefu is failing in this case.
Regardless, I'm putting on the stock tail lights tomorrow to see if it'll fix the issue but was hoping some had a solution.
