Shooting games with good shield and gun play (first or third person)
Hi I'm looking for good shooting games that have good shield and gun play in first or third person. And by shooter I'd prefer something set in the 1800s onwards, so no muskets or black powder guns. Fictional sci-fi universes are acceptable too.
Caveats:
- Guns must be usable with a shield, rather than putting the shield away to use the gun like in COD.
- Shields should IDEALLY be equippable or storable in the player's inventory rather than exclusively an enemy drop that can be carried temporarily.
Games I played with shield and gunplay:
- Borderlands Pre-Sequel (Athena character)
- Far Cry New Dawn (enemy drop)
- Division 2
