2018 NYCC Megathread
As new waves are announced, this will be a repository for information about what is announced. Original links with the announcement will stay up and a link to the thread will be provided here as well. I'm setting auto-sort to new to keep the conversation fresh for comments.
I will update this as soon as possible. I have a job, so it may be updated in the evenings.
Note: these are just official announcements. There are leaks and such (and people should feel free to post the links to those in the comments), but I'm keeping this to official announcements for my own sanity.

FAQ
When is NYCC?
October 4-7, 2018. Shared exclusives (see below) will likely be available around then.
Will the exclusives be shared?
For each wave, there will be a column for shared location (if any). This will be updated with information as we get it. Information will be confirmed or tentative. Information is confirmed if it comes from Funko. Leaks will not be posted here.
I'm new to collecting, what is this noise?
NYCC is one of the largest comic conventions each year. Funko produces a number of exclusive Pops, Dorbz, 5 star figures, Rock Candy, and some other things for this convention. Here are some terms you should familiarize yourself with:
Shared Exclusive - this will be available at the convention and at a retailer like Hot Topic or GameStop, etc. This does not mean it will necessarily be "easy" to obtain - it really depends on demand. But in theory you can get it at a retailer, either online or in store.
Convention Only - you can only get this at the actual convention. These tend to be limited in number (e.g. Limited Edition 2000).
Wave - Funko announces convention pops in waves. We will keep information updated.
Live link/not live - sometimes users find links for shared exclusives. If a link is "live" it means you can click it and complete a transaction. If it's "not live" it means it's a placeholder, subject to change, and you can't actually complete a transaction.
At what point do I begin to freak out?
Ideally at no point. There is a lot of hype, a lot of frustration about past experiences, a lot of positive experiences. YMMV.
Can I ask for someone to pick something up for me at NYCC?
You cannot. We don't allow backpacking requests. The simple reason is that the person doesn't have the item in hand, and can't guarantee they will get one. The other reason is that going to a con is often like this and we don't want people all trying to ask a user to get them something if they know that user is going.
