Have any Feds been commenting on their congressmen’s social media posts?

Is there a chance to face repercussions for using your first amendment right as long as you don’t do anything crazy?

I ask because my congressman said something really dumb and incorrect and I REALLLLLLLLY want to hold him accountable.
