Choices for 2025 Switch Song
I’m not sure how common these type of posts are but I just wanted to ask which two artists from Eurovision 2025 you want to see sing each other’s songs. Here’s my choices
- 🇳🇱 - 🇨🇭
Reason: For me this definitely sounds the most promising. Both music videos are interpretative and abstract in nature and display a high degree of aesthetic. The instrumentation of both songs exhibit a switch in tone from mellow to triumphant with the Netherlands occurring in the intro to the first verse while with Switzerland occurring in the pre-chorus to the bridge. In addition, the lyrics for both have a big focus on life. It would be interesting seeing how both would interpret each other’s songs.
- 🇫🇮 - 🇲🇹
Reason: I feel like this would be the most common choice amongst the fandom. I mean these two songs have been referenced so much for being part of the 69th Eurovision song contest and not to mention Erika and Miriana supporting each other. It would be amazing seeing them sing each other’s songs.
- 🇬🇷 - 🇺🇦
Reason: A very intriguing duo. I think both songs are lighter in the verses but heavier in the choruses. Also I can see cultural/folk elements embedded into the overall packages. Along with their amazing voices this would make good pairing.
- 🇦🇺 - 🇪🇪
Reason: This is the chaos bringer of my choices for switch song. Tommy Cash and his team staging Milkshake Man honestly sounds cursed.
- 🇦🇱 - 🇩🇪
Reason: Yeah, this might look weird at first but let me explain. Both songs fall into the category of electronica and it would be interesting how they will interpret each other’s songs. Shkodra Elektronika covering a pop-electronica sound and Abor & Tynna covering a folk-electronica sound can potentially work.
