What’s new in Wave Link 2.0.2 for macOS?

This megathread is your hub to test, report bugs, and provide feedback on the latest updates. Below are details on the latest features and links to download the beta.

🍎 macOS Support

Wave Link 2.0.1 is now available on macOS, bringing key updates to enhance functionality and usability.

🎙️ Sample Recorder

Sample Recording brings real-time recording, effects, and playback. Access this feature under your Wave device.

🔃 Overhaul of Audio Inputs:

You’re no longer limited to a single application per input. You can use audio inputs like Voice, Game, SFX, and Browser to add multiple applications to a single channel.

🎤 Wave Link MicrophoneFX

Wave Link MicrophoneFX has been relocated to the SFX channel, allowing you to route multiple applications in addition to the Stream Deck app.

📚 Merged Apps Display

Wave Link now merges multiple instances of the same app (e.g., Discord) into a single entry for easier management.

🚫 App Routing Information

Some apps do not support audio routing within Wave Link and require manual configuration. Wave Link now shows a helpful icon next to these apps, so you’ll know which ones need manual adjustment within their own settings.

As we find more applications requiring manual routing, this list updates automatically over time, so you’re always covered.

🛠️ Performance and improvements

  • Fixed a crash caused by resizable audio effects.
  • Fixed an issue with the Wave Link plugin where the Input Level Meters did not appear.
