What's people's problem with overtaking, it's so tiring

Just today as an example, i had a tesla dawdling along at like 30mph in a 60mph, i just knew that the instance i tried to overtake he would go absolutely batshit crazy. Tapped my indicator and lo and behold he rockets of at what must be 90-100mph only to slow down back to 30mph again as soon as we got somewhere i couldn't overtake.

I just don't get it, i get papped, honked, flipped off, all doing very legal overtakes. Like i have no personal vendetta against these people, i'm just going by them because they are going slower than me, it's absolutely no skin off anyones back if i go around them.

With most cars it's manegable because my car has just about enough poke (0-60 in about 7.5 seconds) to power through an overtake when the other party accelerates to block you but when you get crap like BMW 330is and Teslas who can go from 30-100 in the blink of eye it's just tedious, if you're that willing to stop me overtaking then just hurry the fuck up, i wouldn't be overtaking you if you wearn't going so slow.
