Needle phobia

Just had the meltiest of meltdowns while trying to give myself an injection after being on a pump for almost a year.

My pump site was being weird and I was on a time crunch so I thought I’d quickly give myself an injection for lunch before I have to go back to school. I was rearing up to inject myself for 20 minutes, had to call my mom and hang up on her after her advice wasn’t helpful (sorry mom). All that worrying and psyching myself out to simply not feel the needle enter my skin at all.

I feel so alone and silly in my struggle.
