Data recovery from SSD that was soldered onto the board (Macbook 2016)

So my girlfriends cat knocked over a bottle of vodka onto her laptop in the middle of the night. The computer will not turn on after drying it out. I tried to remove the hard drive to save the data, but it's soldered onto the board (which is something Mac was doing with the 2016 and 2017 models. Mac used to offer a data recovery for this because the soldering was screwing people over. Now they no longer offer it. So far, I have found a place in Alabama that does the process. I, being in Quebec Canada, makes it's a tough to get it done there. There is a lot of shipping and international charges that get added onto the bill, and there is no guarantee that it'll work. Does anyone know of a place in Canada that does it, or someway I can do it myself?

Thank you!
