Failed attempt of "middle finger stitch" vest.

Tried to use the infamous "middle finger stitch(larksfoot stitch)" to make a vest, but they don't look like middle fingers at all!! 😔 I don't know what I've done wrong. I like how it looks, but it's not whst j expected. Should give it another go? 😭
