Help! I need Suggestions! Channel mini square flap circa 94

This bag is still in excellent condition, priced at $3.7k after tax. I’ve been searching for a mini bag and am torn between this one and the mini top handle.

I’ve always wanted a vintage Chanel piece. I liked the looks of the flat quilts and the 24k plated gold hardware. I was so happy when I found this bag, but upon seeing it in person, I’m not a fan of how some of the quilts are “curving” inward. Also, considering its age (30 yo) and lambskin material, I’m concerned the bag will fall apart after few uses.

I’m wondering if $3.7k is a fair price for this bag or if I should save up and opt for the mini top handle instead.
