Should I study medicine?

Medicine has been my dream ever since I was little, but approaching the decision I’m starting to feel like it isn’t the right choice. I love medicine I love science I love anatomy and I’d love to help heal people in the future. My only concern is time. I feel like studying medicine and becoming a doctor will offer me no life or time. It’s like I’ll either be so focused on studying or so focused on work. When I get married and have kids or something,I’m worried I wouldn’t have enough time to spend with my kids. I feel like most doctors go to work before their kids wake up and be home by the time their kids sleep. My dream is to be a surgeon but I’m worried I won’t have time to actually live, travel the world,and start a family. So will please any of you doctors/ medical students tell me if you manage to have free time?
