Black Screen after M-FLASH Reboot [SOLVED]

Was never posted here but I found a problem and a solution on various other threads so I thought I'd make a new one with everything in one place and up to date.

Verbose description of everything:

I was updating my BIOS to solve a different problem last night and ran into a new problem. After entering M-FLASH mode in my MSI x570's BIOS, I was greeted with 3 black screens.

Two of those screens, including my default monitor, are display port and my emails monitor is HDMI.

Turns out M-FLASH mode only displays if you default monitor is an HDMI. I highly suggest unplugging ALL display port monitors BEFORE ENTERING M-FLASH.

After unplugging and replugging in all my monitors including the HDMI, nothing would bring M-FLASH out of black screen. I hard reset my computer (feel my pain, hard reseting my computer in a BIOS update menu). Before I did this I plugged in only my HDMI monitor, keyboard and mouse.

My computer restart cycled about 3 times, and at the fourth time I was losing hope but then "Exiting M-FLASH" popped on the screen, my computer restarted once more, and then was back to the original BIOS menu. I re-entered M-FLASH mode with just the HDMI monitor, and it worked fine, where I was able to update my BIOS successfully.

Relevant Hardware:

-MSI MAG x570 WIFI

-5800X, no over clocking

-Asus TUF 3070ti, with two display port monitor connections and 1 HDMI connection in use. Display port monitor 1 set as default

-32GB of 3200mHz ram

Problem Description for google:

Black screen in M-FLASH mode

No signal in M-FLASH mode

M-FLASH mode just shows black screen

M-FLASH mode, lights on, no display

Problem Cause:

Having a non-HDMI monitor set as default during M-FLASH restart

M-FLASH only displays to HDMI

Solution:

Plug only 1 HDMI into GPU

Hard reset computer (hold power 2+ seconds) - DO NOT UNPLUG YOUR COMPUTER, RESTART IT.

The computer may restart SEVERAL TIMES, just let it chill.

Hope this is helpful to someone.
