How long will the 7800x3d last for 1080p?

I know no one can predict this, but i was wondering how long the 7800x3d would last for 1080p? For both triple A title games to esport titled games that are cpu heavy. For esport titles specially the goal is to always hit above 300 FPS with 1% lows above 240 FPS.

How much more “future proofing” does the 9800x3d offer over the 7800x3d? And is it worth a 110 USD difference? I currently have a 4070, would the extra cash be better put to upgrade my future GPU?

When can we expect a gaming cpu that will be able to give at least a consistent 30% increase to performance compared to the 7800x3d?
