RTO push-up confusion
Hello, i need an advice. I started ring work, everything goes nice, but im confused about RTO pushups, specifically that rings turn out motion. I always did weighted pushups narrow gril, i felt it better in chest And just overall feeling better than with wider push ups. I tried narrow with RTO pushups And nothing wrong. The thing Is , when i turn ring out at the end of every řep on narrow grip, rings are right under the point where rings are set on bar.
And now question. One guy told me, that doing them this way wont work the chest at the RTO position, because there is no resistence And i need to have them wide, because then im rotating them from the side to the middle, which creates resistance.
I thought about it and makes sense, but does IT work chest that more vs narrow RTO ? Is it really neceasary to do RTO wide push ups, or Is it ok even from narrow ? Im confused, thanks for answers .
