One of my chalice dungeons disappeared

I was playing through a chalice dungeon and I pulled the lever to unlock the boss door. Then I went back to the hunters dream to spend my blood echoes and when I was done I walked back to find the dungeon disappeared. I also need four more ritual blood (2) to recreate it. Is this a bug? Did I do something wrong? Can I get more ritual blood(2)? Am I fucked until ng+?
