UK bee identification and question about Beevive product
Hey r/bees,
I've been finding a lot of various exhausted bees on the ground the past week here in the UK. Five to be exact. They've always happily crawled onto my hand and I've put them in nearby flowers.
This fella has me a bit stumped though - it is a bee, right? Not some exotic fly? It's eyes look fairly big compared to pictures I've found of a similar looking bee (Tawny Mining Bee) and is missing antennae?
I also picked up one of those Beevive keyrings which has a sugar-water solution inside. Helpful to use, right?
Thanks
