How strange are the people on AC transit usually?

I'm not from here, but since I started riding AC Transit I've had the strangest encounters. It's either people being distrubtive, vaping, arguing with the driver, or the stragest today.

This one guy kept trying to talk to me but I couldn't understand what he was saying due to his voice and the sounds of the bus. He later kept asking if I worked for the "clan" and said if I don't they'll come and kill me as "they got guns and target kids". Then he later pulled out weed and started eating that.

I'm honestly more confused more than anything, but is AC transit ususally like this?
