what is this thing growing on my tongue

i noticed this while cleaning my tongue about a month ago however it is still here i dont think its grown but its not getting smaller or going away. its kinda like a little spike though it looks flat from my saliva. it hurts if i push on it and i tried to scrub it off but it wouldn’t come off just bled and got sore. still here a few weeks later.
i wear a mouth guard to sleep and brush x2 day and use mouth rinse. i have a lot of cavities that have been filled/crowned/root canal and visit the dentist x2 per year. though this appeared after my last visit and my next probably isn’t until june.
