I have not been able to switch off the noise cancellation for a few days now. Help!

If i set noise cancellation to off, i only hear a strange sound and it jumps back to the previously selected mode. Can someone tell me why I can no longer turn off noise cancellation?

Transparency and Adaptive works normally.
