Differences in Primer?

So I am planning on finally working on my Tzarketh, and I found a fairly easy way of doing warpfire. However in the video, the guy said to use white primer/a light colored primer. I’ve always used the black primer, so is there a difference between the black and white primers that Citadel sells?
