Need advice on slippery adidas sambas

I recently bought a pair of samba OGs and they are very cute. Unfortunately, these shoes are super slippery on wet surfaces/in rainy weather! I'm currently nursing an ankle injury from slipping in these and another friend of mine experienced the same issue a week later, coincidentally. Needless to say, I'm cautious about wearing them again. Has anyone else experienced this issue? And if so, did you manage to fix it? (i.e with anti-slip soles or something?)
