Genitals ≠ Gender!

Especially in cis or LGB spaces I see people acting like attraction is solely to genitals. Attraction is holistic, and someone’s gender and presentation absolutely plays a role in another persons attraction to them. Not saying you can’t have genital preferences, but I’ve been reading threads that push this weird narrative of trans people “trying to coerce/trick x people into having y sex.” Like it’s not straight sex to fuck a girl w a dick. Key word being girl. And all this stigma around trans people makes it so difficult to have open conversations about desire and pleasure. And I’d like to just put out there that I like penises and still do not like men. Scandalous, I know. Call me bi or not a real lesbian, but I literally gag at the thought of fucking a man and am not bothered at all by penises themselves. Sexuality is more than just genitals, attraction to the rest of a person’s physical appearance and their mannerism, personality all plays a part in it. And most people just aren’t there yet, they just don’t get it, and it’s so frustrating.
