How the heck do you get a manager?

I see people discussing all the time how to get an agent, when to submit yourself, etc; but I never see anyone talking about how to get a manager. I feel like it’s a good time for me to seek out management because I really want to focus on elevating my career this year and I feel like I need a professionals help and creative assistance.

I would prefer a boutique-like management company based in LA, but I literally don’t know where to even begin. Do you send cold emails? Do they find you? What do you even mention in the email? Is it similar to what you send an agent? Help!
