M16 continues to run despite being shut down

My brand new m16 (did a clean windows 11 install, added 64gb ram and (2) 4tb m.2 drives, installed g-helper and uninstalled armoury crate.

Just noticed this issue as it is the first time I had taken my laptop anywhere. I shut down windows 11 and packed it in my bag. When I got to my destination my computer was dead. (uncharged) which I thought was weird. I questioned myself if I actually forgot to shut down windows. Then after getting ready to travel home I shut down windows again but noted that the fans kept going. (I thought maybe it was a feature to cool before shutting down), so I let it be and had a shower and came back to it. Well I come back 15 minutes later and the fans were still running and the laptop was warm (like it was running) but windows was not active.

I had to long press the power key to truly shut it down.

Had anyone experienced what is happening to me?

Any way to troubleshoot the issue?
