Xreal air glasses not showing screen, only sound

I recently got a pair of Xreal air glasses and after doing the updates, the display does not turn on but I can hear sound, from what I found out on Reddit there is an activation thing I have to do? Would love some help on this.

UPDATE: finally figured it out! To anyone who is having the same problem, plug the glasses into an iPhone/ipad and BOOM now they work on everything!
