Is 7 days too many?

Hey all, my husband and I are planning to cruise with VV for the first time this summer. Last year we did 5 days with RC. We were with our children, and kind of felt like 5 days was our limit. We really like the itinerary of VV’s 7 day, but wondering if we’ll feel the same way about our 5 day limit. In your experience was 7 days a bit too much for you? I’m sure it will be different without our kids, just looking at our options.
