Sean Gares on Brawk leaving SR for NRG
“Brawk has been a pivotal part in the SR/MXS core since its inception, and we will miss him dearly. We were more than happy to allow Brawk to show the world what he’s capable of on the big stage. On a personal level, I’m stoked Brawk can join forces with Mada and immediately content for titles. Literally perfect scenario.
With Brawk entering VCT, that officially puts all of last year’s MXS squad in VCT 2025 (Brawk, Mada, Vic, Flyuh, and Oderus). Bittersweet! 🥹
It should be noted, the communication with NRG was fantastic throughout the whole process, although there isn’t a cell in my body that would’ve prevented this man from playing in VCT with a call up like this.
All of this said, SR Black has some big shoes to fill, and we have been working with Riot and the Challengers TO (ACE) to get someone added to our roster. I’m super confident that our new look will bring a revitalized team and can’t wait to share our new direction!”
