This Place Is The Worst

Lol I know this gets said a lot but anyone else just think this place keeps getting worse & worse every single week? I’ve had family friends working for the post office & retire from here.. it used to be such a great opportunity. Now it’s just another job that sucks the soul & every ounce of energy out of you.

They tell you “you’re a CCA, it gets better!” Then they say “you’re a PTF, it has to get better!” Then when you’re a regular it’s just as bad. It’s just slightly less awful not working in a place you don’t know.. but you’re still working 12hr shifts, getting talked down my management, doing work for other lazy people, and there’s zero respect for your time.

I’m getting married next year & they’re trying to tell me I can’t have the day off lmfaoo. We got engaged in July. We told all of our coworkers when our date was so we could work with the vacation calendar. Put in a leave slip IN OCTOBER THIS YEAR for the wedding date - but then this month someone took that entire week of our wedding off on the vacation calendar so it’s “tough luck” ??? What an actual joke. Have fun pivoting when you’re short that day because I’m not going to be there. Who tells someone “tough luck” for your wedding you’ve already paid 3 vendors down payments for?? Hahahah
