Most expensive restaurants and their relative value?

Curious about the most expensive restaurants in town, and perceived value?

For example, P.S. Steak is too expensive - even for a high end steakhouse. I find the portions to be small, the service to be sub par, and too many errors by the kitchen for the price. Once ordered a medium rare share sized rib-eye for the table, at least $150, and it came out nearly well done. It was also pre-sliced, which means that multiple staff members saw this monstrosity and decided to serve it anyway.

What do you think? Other restaurants that don’t live up to the price? Others that are pricey but worth every penny?
