Better PA facet?

5k pos 1 player, been enjoying PA with moderate success this patch. I typically go veiled one passive due to it rocking a significantly higher pick & win rate however when i watch Mason and RTZ stream they exclusively go for methodical, I heard mason say on stream “it’s just more damage” but i can’t for the life of me understand why they prefer it when it’s statistically inferior, what am I missing?
