It’s both shocking, yet also kinda impressive, how she pulled this off.

Context: Courtney was (at least primarily) to blame for collapse of both the canon couples she was part of, and was also the only contestant to be dumped/ditched by two different people (only counting those she outright dated for at least 2-3 episodes); both cases of which saw her own hubris and selfishness play a big role, no less. - Duncan/Duncney - I’ll let Courtney’s abusive and toxic behaviour towards Duncan in TDA do most of the talking in terms of why this relationship collapsed. Regardless of how he moved on from her or what he could’ve/should’ve done instead, his reasons and motive for moving on from her in the first place would’ve remained the same. - Scott/Scottney - Bro was depicted as a rat in her chart and (quite reasonably) felt betrayed as a result. Even so, she only wanted to take him to the finale in the first place because she thought he would be an easy opponent, and on top of that, I’m convinced that she would try and pressure/force him to split the money in the event that he theoretically managed to win against her; she wasn’t just trying to get an easy win out the finale, she was trying to create a situation where she comes out on top no matter what by exploiting Scott’s presence.
