One piece of advice you wish you could tell all trainees/ECTs?
What it says on the tin, basically! I'm currently training and although my experience has been brilliant (my mentor, department, wider school staff and university staff could not do more to help me grow as a teacher), I'm aware I'm existing in an ITT placement bubble.
What one thing could a trainee or ECT do to make your (and their) life easier? What thing could help them through their early career more than anything else? How can we trainees/ECTs be helpful in a department? Is there anything we should try to avoid doing?
