Bluetooth Audio Issue
Hi all!
I drive a 2013 Outback and have a brand new problem after driving the car for about a year.
So far, everything has been normal. But as of today it won't connect to my phone automatically anymore. Not only that, when I press the talk switch, it now only gives me two options. One is to pair a brand new audio player and the other is to "set passkey." Neither option is to "select phone" which is what I would like to do, because my phone is still paired, it just isn't "selected" and I also don't want to pair an "audio device" because if I do the phone won't work for calls.
The car will not allow me to "select" anything, or reach any menu other than the "pair Bluetooth Audio" menu unless I pair an audio player. When I press the voice commands button it always brings me back to the same menu. This audio player must also be a new device, and I can't delete any devices until I pair a new one, and I can't find any way to bypass the voice commands and "select" my phone without this ridiculous hassle. So far my only workaround has been to delete the phone and pair it again each time I start the car, which takes far too long.
Can't figure out why there is this menu with only two options, or why the car chooses which menu to give the user. I would love to permanently disable this brand new menu I am experiencing.
Thanks!
