Rooted enough for transplant?

I am newish to propagating in sphagnum and am wondering- should I transplant these or not? This is my second round of propagation. The first ones I transplanted into soil around this time and they did okay and put on a little new growth but then died. I’m sure if they died due to a watering error or if I just set myself up for failure by transplanting too soon. Im used to the hardier/ bigger roots you get by rooting in water and welcome your tips for success with this style rooting of this plant!
