8G septum with spikes! + Advice on sizing up

I finally reached my goal size of 8G about 2 months ago, just switched my jewellery from balls to spikes today!

As everyone warned me, 8G is definitley not my goal anymore and I want to go a bit bigger. Any advice for me in a couple months when I attempt size up? I've hear 8-6 can be one of the worst.

I'm also getting my vertical labret done soon and I was wondering if that still healing while I attempt to size up could cause any complications for either piercings?
