Can Killer Queen: Bites the Dust kill Giorno with GER?

Imagine that Hayato was in the same situation but instead of speaking wiht Rohan he spoke with Giorno with regular Golden Experience. Giorno discovers Kira and explodes because of Bites the Dust. Hayato comes back to the past and finds a way in which Giorno obtains the stand arrow and he obtains GER. In this hypotetic situation, would Giorno die anyways becease he was already marked? Or GER would cancel the effect of Bites the Dust? An if this happened, GER could attack Kira in some way? (I ask this becuase of Bites the Duste being an automtatic stand)
