Is anyone else tired of their characters doing no damage in newer game modes?

Before you say, "skill issue" I must clarify that i have all my characters with their respective builds, i follow the guides they provide me, i have some 5* light cones and things like Acheron E2, i also have all of harmony characters but Sparkle, but I still keep feeling that the amount of HP that the enemies have is becoming a damn nightmare, my characters can do 300k damage to an enemy and not lower the life bar at all, it's even ridiculous. I didn't win 50/50 with Herta but each game mode benefits her more than anything and I am feeling overwhelmed and fatigued because I feel that my characters are too weak compared to Herta, making my farming, pulling & dedication all for nothing, there are characters from 1.X that I would like to use again, the game does not encourage using your characters for side missions like a bond system for example, there is no such thing here. At least i have some of fun in SU/DU modes...

Should I take a break from this game? I'm sorry if my post seems more venting but I really had to get all this out.
