Relocation questions

Ok! I am sure this had been posted before. I am in talks with a employer on the island. I've never been there but I've heard wonderful things. I understand the employment is in Frenchmans Bay area. Is there a good decently priced rental area nearby? Or what city would be close to that area? Any area to avoid?
