SWE at SWA

Hello I'm a junior CS major in Texas. I already have an software engineering internship lined up for this summer and am starting to think about places to apply for full-time employment. Southwest has been brought up multiple times by peers and I just wanted to ask anyone who works there, how is it? How is the work-life balance and compensation? Also, I heard a rumor that at Southwest working remote is a definite option and that, combined with the free flights, make it possible to effectively work anywhere in the world of your choosing so long as you have good Wi-Fi and can put in the hours. Is this a bit glamorous/pie in the sky or is it true? I've always wanted to see the world but don't want to skip a beat between college and career. Any advice at all is greatly appreciated
