No, I can’t take this ambition wank seriously: people are saying 06 base is better than zero gravity? Look ZG isn’t perfect, but at least I have fun with it without being worried about glitches

Granted before someone comes at me, let me get all the talking points out of the way:

Yes, I know zero gravity simplified things compared to riders and I don’t agree with some of the decisions.

I think timing the jumps would be fine if you were still allowed to use a d pad for a trick input after the jump.

I think they could’ve had the regular drift as well as the gravity drift.

I think they could’ve kept the boost gauge, but make it a very hard Comeback mechanic that you have to be very careful about when to use

That being said:

At least I can play a silver the hedgehog without having to worry about certain levels being a nightmare to play

Well, I’m not taking story into consideration, I can argue that a simple but effective story can work more than a convoluted one

Both have a good level design mirrored by issues involving bugs and simplicity, but I’ll take something that simple over something that can be virtually unplayable at times
