Whats smite community like these days?

I used to play smite A LOT when it came out on xbox. Many many days i put into this game but it has been years since i have been into it. I re installed it to play a few games (i did get absolutely destroyed cause idk the meta anymore) and it was fun. Are people still playing this game and having fun? Whats the current state of the game like?
