Just rewatched that movie Waiting and it’s like a documentary of my life

For those who don’t know, it’s a comedy about working in a corporate restaurant, with Ryan Reynolds and Justin Long. The main character Dean (Justin Long) has worked at this restaurant since he was 18, hasn’t finished college while his peers are already graduated and starting their careers. Every weekend the staff gets fucked up at someone’s house drinking and getting high, then rinse and repeat every week. All of the stereotypes like the dipshit busboys and the long time bitter employees are present and it’s hilarious how true it is. But also when I was watching, it felt like a lot like my life and although it was funny, seeing it on screen is almost too much. I have some plans for my future but getting out is hard.
